Lusaka and Livingstone

In the capital city of Lusaka, Embassy Park, the Lusaka museum, and art galleries offer great insight into the history and culture of Zambia. Kondo will take you beyond these major sites to tour the compounds, markets, and bustling urban areas. As Lusaka is Kondo Safari’s home base, we are in a unique position to arrange visits to schools, hospitals, community centers, orphanages  and other local places depending on your personal interests. Kondo also offers day trips from Lusaka to the Kariba Dam and other sites.

No visit to Zambia would be complete without a visit to Livingstone to experience the grandeur of Mosi-O-Tunya – “The “Smoke that Thunders.” Walk along the edges of Victoria Falls and feel the power of the Zambezi River. Or view the falls from above by helicopter or even from below by boat! Livingstone is also the home to interesting historical museums and fascinating cultural villages and markets. You can even interact with rescued elephants at the Elephant Café or ride a dinner train across the river. Kondo will arrange and facilitate all your activities in Livingstone.
