Zambia-the Dream Come True

When my friends invited me to travel to Zambia, I jumped at the opportunity and invited my sister as well. We were warmly welcomed by Victor, owner and head guide of Kondo. I scrambled up into the open touring jeep and we were off for a beautifully organized trip. Animal sightings, visits to villages and especially time to meet Zambian people were the highlights of the trip.

This was truly a unique and memorable adventure – so much so that we’ll be returning to Zambia and Zimbabwe with Kondo next year!

A Zambian’s Zambia

What a safari. Make that two. So extraordinary we’re planning another Zambian tour with Kondo.

The Kondo team shared with us a  Zambian’s Zambia- taking us deep into the bush to track the big five, through urban centers with colorful markets to sample local food & watch textiles being crafted, into spirited primary schools, health clinics & a cultural village where you can sleep in a thatched hut while eating amazing local Zambian food prepared on the fire by villagers. We explored via safari Jeeps, canoes at eye-level with honking hippos, via a river cruise, on foot watching a pregnant rhino cool herself in the mud a few miles away from Victoria Falls and enjoyed thrilling day & night game drives. Highlights like visiting an anti-poaching unit and engaging with the K-9 conservation team, plus the enduring friendships we made, keep us coming back.

The Blue Lagoon

Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated Nicholas. Because of road conditions, our drive to the Blue Lagoon was longer and more challenging than expected. Nick did a great job and had a great attitude throughout the whole day.
